Fancy yourself as a bit of a daredevil? Well your mettle will be tested conclusively while dangling fifteen meters in the air, completing the SkyRide, a terrifying high ropes course in the heart of Yorkshire. It’s an exhilarating experience, featuring rope ladders, wobbly bridges and all while trying not to fall, whatever you do: don’t look down! Your friends might have a laugh as children as young as 6 years old prove to be more agile than you, but don’t let that put you off; the course is doable by experts and complete novices alike. The real art of the high ropes course is staying calm and collected at all times; you will obviously have safety harnesses on all the time, so the fear of falling is completely irrational. Still, it is a basic human instinct to be wary of heights, and it’s this instinct that gives you that adrenaline rush, and makes the activity so fun. Challenge your pals !
